Started programming on my 48k Sinclair ZX Spectrum age six in the late 80s on the living room floor in Surrey, England. Tape cassette loading games. Going through all the example BASIC programs in the manual and then copying code from magazines and fixing it, anything to get a new game!

School had BBC Micros which I loved, 5.25" disks with Centipede and Planetoid (Defender)! More BASIC programming :)

The 90s brought along 286s, Internet, Email, 386s, 486s at school. Home was an Acorn Arcamedies 3010 upgraded to 2MB memory, Chocks Away, Lemmings and more BASIC programming games for fun. 

Late 90s we finally had a PC and home dial up Internet. Online website creation. Online gaming! Doom, Quake, Dark Forces, Red Alert and on it went.

An HND and BSc in Computing, 20 years in the IT industry and a move to Germany. 

Now making Batari BASIC 2600 games in Notepad for fun :)
